Cornerstone Support Services Computer Technology Center offers computer-based classes for adults, seniors and youths. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals in Microsoft applications including basic classes in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher. Classes are offered for people in central Brooklyn who would like to learn basic application skills.
At our Saturday workshops we cover topics such as creating resumes, cover letters and thank-you letters. Also workshops in job search and how to post online. There is a technology instructor on staff during the open lab time on Saturday afternoon to answer general computer and Internet questions.
Student success rate is very high. That is said because, our folks come back week after week. We motivate them and they don't give up. Each person learns at a different rate and we allow them to learn at their own pace and in their own time.
Class meets each Saturday from 10AM - 12Noon
Open Lab each Saturday from 12Noon - 1PM
